Action buttons on masters appear on all slides

When you view your presentation in PowerPoint, action buttons on the Slide Master appear only on slides based on the Slide Master; action buttons on the Title Master, if any, appear only on slides based on the Title Master.

In some cases, when you convert the presentation to HTML, PPT2HTML incorrectly puts the action buttons from all masters onto every slide.

This happens when the presentation was created in PowerPoint 2002 (aka XP) and has multiple masters.

We hope soon to have an update that fixes this problem for PPT2HTML running in PowerPoint 2002.

Unfortunately, we can't access multiple masters in earlier versions of PowerPoint, since they can display but not edit multiple masters. There's no way for PPT2HTML to distinguish between multiple masters.

If you need to convert presentations with multiple masters (ie, those from PowerPoint 2002 or later) you'll need to upgrade to PowerPoint 2002 ultimately.
