You can do this from a DOS command line or within DOS BAT files.
Or you can click Start, point to Run and type the command into the text box that appears.
The simplest form of command line is:
POWERPNT.EXE /p MyFile.PPT
This brings up a print dialog. You select your options and OK the dialog. PowerPoint prints, then quits.
If you don't want to see any sign of PowerPoint at all:
POWERPNT.EXE /pt Printername "" "" MyFile.PPT
where PrinterName is the name of the printer as it shows up under the printer icon in Start, Settings, Printers
