Can't use my custom Blank Presentation after applying the SR-2 patch

Problem

You apply the SR-2 service release to Office 2000 and afterwards, you can't use your customized Blank Presentation.POT template.

Solution

• Start PowerPoint
• Open your Blank Presentation.POT
• Choose File, Save As, pick "Design Template (*.pot) from the "Save As Type" list
• Save the file as Blank Presentation.POT

Your Blank Presentation template will work as expected.
