Make PowerPoint go to previous slide on right mouse-click
When you're viewing a presentation in slide show mode in PowerPoint, you have the right mouse button behave in one of two ways:
It can display a popup menu with lots of navigation options, or
It can go to the previous slide in your show
To set the behavior you want, choose Tools, Options and go to the View tab.
If you want to see a popup menu when you right click, put a checkmark next to (who'd ever believe it) Popup Menu on Right Mouse Click.
If you want to lose the popup menu, lose the checkmark.
Notice that you can also checkmark Show Popup Menu Button or not while you're here. This controls whether or not PowerPoint displays a button at the lower left of the slide show screen to invoke a popup menu.
And you can choose to have PowerPoint end your show with a black slide or not. The black slide it adds always has "End of show, click to Exit" at the top of the screen. If you prefer not to see this, you can always remove the checkmark from this option and add your own black slide at the end of your show.
