How long will Microsoft offer support for my version of Office?
Microsoft has this to say about it:
The Product Support Lifecycle policy -- which provides standardized, predictable guidelines
for product support -- went into effect on October 15, 2002. This policy covers most current
and future versions of products available at retail or through volume licensing programs.
