You should use File, Make Movie vs. File, Save As to create the QuickTime Movie. Give the file a name with a .MOV extension (either before or after moving the file to the Windows machine). It should play as long as you have QuickTime 4.0 or higher installed on the Windows machine. You can download QuickTime for Windows here. Once you have it installed, start the QuickTime Player, choose File, Open Movie from the menu bar and see if you can open it your QuickTime file.
