Problem
You need to save a shape or shapes to a graphics file for use in some other application.
Solution
If you use PowerPoint 2002 or later, select the shape(s) you want to export then right-click and choose Save As Picture. In the "Save As Picture" dialog box that appears, choose a location and filename for the file, select the graphics format you want to save to then click Save.
If you use PowerPoint 97, try the
PowerPoint 97 Export Graphic Shape Add-In which will export a single selected shape (which might be a group) to JPG or GIF formats. This add-in will probably work for PowerPoint 2000 as well.
