ProblemYou have a PowerPoint presentation that contains embedded sounds. You want to be able to convert these to standalone sound files so you can use them in another presentation, edit them or ... well, whatever. Or there are some images embedded in the PPT that you'd like to use in other ways. How do you extract the sounds and images from your PowerPoint file? Solution
PowerPoint creates a single HTML file using the name you just specified. It also creates a new folder called [Name]_Files ... for example, if you named the HTML file MyFile, PowerPoint creates a file called MyFile.htm and a folder called MyFile_Files. Open that folder. There you'll find a whole bunch of files, but among them will be the sounds and original image files from your presentation.
