Cannot access online pictures, videos, icons, 3D models, etc. in PowerPoint
Problem
When attempting to insert clipart or sign in to your Microsoft Account from within PowerPoint, you see the following message:
Sorry, we are having temporary server issues.
And you cannot insert Microsoft's online clipart, images, icons, 3D models or other online content.
Help and Feedback may also stop working.
The same problem may affect Excel or Word.
Solution
These steps have solved the problem for some users:
- Start Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Choose Tools | Internet Options | Advanced
- Click Reset
- Restart your computer when prompted.
- Give Office a bit of time to install any needed updates after you restart
In other cases, you may, just have to wait until Microsoft fixes the problem at their end.
