Who is PPTools? What's an RnR?

Who is PPTools?

The PPTools add-ins are designed and written by Steve Rindsberg and Brian Reilly, collectively known as RnR.

PPTools can mean PowerPoint Tools or PowerPoint PowerTools or PowerPoint Production Tools or whatever makes the most sense to you after you've tried them.

What's an RnR?

RnR (or R'n'R or R and R - whichever you prefer) stands for Rindsberg and Reilly. Or maybe it's Reilly and Rindsberg. It depends on which of them you ask. Be careful, though. They'll both lie about it.

Brian Reilly and Steve Rindsberg are Microsoft PowerPoint MVPs and long-time PowerPoint users. Both have published books and articles about PowerPoint and are frequent contributors to the Microsoft-sponsored PowerPoint newsgroups.

Both love PowerPoint for its ease of use and curse its limitations.

They've written the various PPTools to build on PowerPoint's strengths and shore up its weaknesses.
