How do I edit the INI file?
To change some of FixLinks's less commonly used settings, you'll need to edit its configuration file.
FixLinks and the other PPTools add-ins store settings in one file called PPTools.INI
PPTools.INI is stored in the folder you chose when you installed FixLinks. Unless you changed the default setting, this is C:\Program Files\RnR\PPToolsV2\
Here's how you edit this file:
How to edit PPTOOLS.INI
If you have the free PPTools Starter Set, just click "Edit the PPTools.INI File" to open PPTools.INI automatically. Otherwise:
- Start Notepad
- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, click Notepad, or
- Click Start, click Run, type "notepad" (without the quotes), then click OK
