PPTools LanguageSelector overview
LanguageSelector is a simple, efficient, fast way to change the language settings of your existing presentations and templates. With a few clicks you can convert your US English-language presentation to UK English, Spanish, French or any other supported language.
LanguageSelector changes the language setting of nearly all text in your presentation (including text on masters, layouts and notes pages) to the language you choose.
To use LanguageSelector:
- Click Help in the LanguageSelector group on the Review tab of the ribbon bar.
- On the dialog box that appears, click Help to open the LanguageSelector Help file) for full instructions.
LanguageSelector works with Windows PowerPoint 2007 and later, 32-bit or 64-bit.
You only need LanguageSelector installed on your own PC to do language conversions. You don't need it to edit or show the presentation on other computers. However, if you've set the presentation to a non-Roman language like Chinese/Japanese/Korean etc., you'l need that language installed on the target PC in order to edit and sometimes to display.
