There are several ways to extract text from a PDF. Keep in mind that depending on the structure of the original PDF, these methods may or may not work well.

Visit Adobe's Access site for info on several ways of converting PDFs to text or html.

Send a PDF as an email attachment to pdf2txt@sun.trace.wisc.edu
It returns the text to you by email

Send a PDF to pdf2html@sun.trace.wisc.edu to get the text back as html

Acrobat 5 will save a PDF as RTF text format.
