Here are the procedure for accessing this forum via the web...
There are 2 parts...
1. "A" is for current Compuserve members
2. "B" is for non-Compuserve members
A. Accessing Publishing Production via the web for CURRENT Compuserve members:
1. Go to http://go.compuserve.com/pubproduction?loc=us&access=public
(the best thing is to copy and paste this url into your browser's "location" area)
2. A login screen will display, enter your Compuserve userid and password, click on "Enter"
(you might want to also click on "remember my password" before clicking on "Enter") and you should be taken directly to the forum.
B. Procedure to establish access to Compuserve's Publishing Production forum via the web for NON-Compuserve members:
1. Go to http://go.compuserve.com/pubproduction?loc=us&access=public
(the best thing is to copy and paste this url into your browser's "location" area)
2. If you don't have a screen name (see the list on the righthand portion of the screen for a
list), click on "Get your free screen name now"
3. Fill out the form:
A. Screen name you want
B. your e-mail address
C. enter a password
D. and again for password confirm
4. Click on the 'Submit' button
A. if the screen name you have chosen is not unique--not an uncommon occurrence--you will be offered a choice of other names
B. your e-mail address will still be there
C. but you will need to re-enter your password and password confirm
5. You will then be taken to the Publish Production forum!
6. Next time you want to enter the forum, just enter
http://go.compuserve.com/PubProduction?LOC=US&ACCESS=Public
in your browser's "location" area.
NOTE: A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you (to the e-mail address you specified when
registering) to confirm your registration. You will need to reply to that email within
24hrs. to maintain the screen name you created.
