WARNING
After you apply SP2, you may start getting "Server not found" error messages when you doubleclick graphs, tables and other embedded (OLE) items.
Microsoft has addressed the problem in this KB article
Beth Melton, an Office MVP, linked the OLE problems up with Norton AntiVirus 2002. She, Brian Reilly, Echo Swinford and Sonia Coleman tested the solution and provided the following information:
- Open Norton AntiVirus
- Click on Options (if you have SystemWorks)
- Under Other --> Miscellaneous uncheck the "Enable Office Plug in" check box under "How to keep Microsoft Office documents protected"
Disabling this option will not leave you totally unprotected. It won't affect the way NAV scans incoming email attachments, even though they're Office documents. If in doubt, you can always manually scan any doubtful files before opening them in Office.
This MS Knowledgebase article has more detailed instructions. Thanks, Rory!

Numbering
Office XP SP1 changed the way PowerPoint numbers slides in certain circumstances. If you rely on an add-in that exports images from PowerPoint, you may want to check with the add-in's developer before updating PowerPoint with any of the service packs.
