Graphics turn black

Problem

Graphics, particularly JPG graphics, in existing PowerPoint presentations have become black when you open the presentation.

New graphics you insert into your presentations also become black.

Solution

Check with your computer's manufacturer or your video board manufacturer for updated video drivers.
Note: even if you just upgraded to a new copy of Windows, it doesn't mean that you have the latest video drivers. You really do need to check with the manufacturer.
