Message: "You must accept the Office End User License Agreement" when starting an Office program
Problem
Every time you start PowerPoint or one of the other Office programs, you see a message:
You must accept the Office End User License Agreement
You click "I accept" and the program starts normally, but the next time you start it, you see the same message.
Solution
Log onto the computer as an Administrator, start any Office program and click "I accept" when the message appears.
or
- In Windows XP or VISTA, hold down the SHIFT key, right-click the icon for any Office program, choose Run As and enter the name and password for a user with Administrator privileges on the computer.
- In Windows 7, hold down the SHIFT key, right-click the icon for any Office program, choose Run As Administrator and enter the name/password for a user with Administrator privileges on the computer.
Then click I Accept when prompted.
Repeat for any other Office programs that continue to prompt you to accept the End User LIcense Agreement (EULA) when you start them.
