Run the installer

For any version of PowerPoint:

  1. Double-click the icon for the PPTools installer you downloaded.
  2. The installer will automatically choose an appropriate folder for PPTools, depending on your Windows version and whether or not you've previously installed any PPTools add-ins.
  3. Start PowerPoint, your new PPTool will be installed and ready to use

Please don't improvise your own "improved" installation procedures.

Don't double-click .PPA files. Don't add them via the Tools, Add-ins dialog.

This won't work. It will make messes.
