What about the links in my original presentation?

PPT2HTML detects and handles most of PowerPoint's Action Settings links automatically, with a little help from you. It creates HTML links to the appropriate HTML file for the following Action Settings:

• Next Slide
• Previous Slide
• First Slide
• Last Slide
• URL links
• End Show
• Run Program links (but see the info later in this FAQ about Program links)
• Play Sound actions (but see the info about Sounds elsewhere in this FAQ)
• Play AVI actions are converted into links to the AVI file
• Hyperlinks within text

Some of PowerPoint's action settings can't be converted to HTML properly, Previously Viewed Slide, for example. In many cases, a little bit of Javascript in your templates can overcome these limitations. We have a few sample bits of useful Javascript in the JavaScraps section of this FAQ and plan to add more as time permits.
